SUM’s vast digital library is a resource for all of their research needs and is accessible to students through their sum email account.
SUM’s digital library is easy to access. All you have to do is to go to sum.edu then resources and then go to the library page. Thousands of resources are available right from your computer or mobile device.
The quickest way to access our digital library is to go to sum.edu/library.
You will see descriptions of all of the accessible databases. The database you use the most will be EBSCO. Our team of librarians adds to our resources regularly. Another good database that will be available soon is LIRN.
When you click on one of the Databases you will be prompted to use your sum gmail account. The only way to access the library is by going through your student email account. If you have not enabled two-step authentication, you will need to enable that before gaining access to the library sites.
If you need help navigating the library, one of the librarians will be happy to help you. We will also help you find resources for papers and in some cases get you articles from other libraries. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to research before a project or paper is due. This will ensure that our librarian team is able to help you find exactly what you need. Please use the form on the library website to submit your requests for assistance from our librarian team.
