How to View the Status of a Help Ticket?

The SUM Support Center makes it easy for students, staff and faculty to check the status of open support tickets, view progress that has been made on the issue, and communicate with the support team.


The SUM Support Center is one of the services available through SUM’s Help Desk

And is only accessible with an SUM email address. Students, faculty and staff can check on the status of their open tickets, view all of the activity and conversations associated with their tickets and communicate with support staff.


 

Please allow 24-48 hours during regular business hours for our staff to address your ticket.

After that time, students will be able to view real time updates and interact with the support team. In most cases issues are able to be resolved within a week. If the issue takes a little longer to resolve, the team will post updates to the student in the support center. 

 

All communication with SUM teams regarding an open ticket should happen through the support center.

This will ensure that all of the updates and activities on the ticket are recorded in one place and available for you to review.
